"LEAVES"

This is my tribute to the tree as a separate universe.

I wonder if anyone has ever tried to count the leaves of a tree? Given that nobody knows how many trees there are on the planet, I think it would be considered a pointless exercise. So for us, one leaf is just... a unit not worth considering as such.

But let's change our perspective and take a closer look at the mass of people on our planet.
What role does one person really play in the context of population?
What makes one person feel better than another? What makes us feel so special? Superior..

Is it our Ego?
I remember one Guru comparing a size of our planet to a spec in the context of the entire universe...
If we zoom in to that planet - we will find a tiny place called country, which is barely visible in the context of the globe.
And if we zoom in even more - we will find a little creature called human who thinks being the most important element in the entire universe...

That is how strong our Ego is... 

So comming back to that leaf on a tree...

We don't have to go to outer space, to look at our tiny planet in order to realize that we are part of the whole. Just climb up a hill, look at the forest and try to imagine a small leaf in it...

This realization helps me to stop for a moment, to calm down my mind, to understand how small I really am and how ridiculous are the problems that keep me awake in the night... 

It helps me to reconsider the values.
